Open enrollment for CLIP: Riverview's alternative high school

CLIP (Contracted Learning-Individualized Program) is part-time attendance in a structured and tutorial classroom setting, open to students ages 14-20, who are not presently enrolled in the regular public school system.

Students spend from three to eight hours per week with the instructor, and the remainder of the required hours are spent independently, and documented in weekly time logs. This program provides an opportunity for students who want to earn a high school diploma or prepare for the GED test, but find that the traditional public school setting does not match their personal educational needs and learning styles.

For additional information, or to request application materials, contact the Alternative Programs Office of the Riverview School District at 425-333-4115, exts. 253 or 282. After Aug. 9, call Mr. Yates, at Cedarcrest High School, at 788-7116.
