Mary Wiles to perform at Greater Bothell Arts Fair

   Multi-instrumentalist Mary Wiles, who has been rated as one of the top women performers in Northwest country music, will be performing with her band at the Greater Bothell Arts Fair on Sunday, August 8, from 3 to 5 p.m.

   Wiles and her band took first place in the "Battle of the Country Bands" in 1996 in Northwest Washington. Wiles will perform a variety country music show playing the banjo, fiddle, blues harmonica, guitar, mandolin, and kayboards.

   She is able to switch musical styles from bluegrass to rock help to create a show that appeals to all age groups, from seniors to baby boomers to kids. Her show includes surprise appearances from "famous" country stars and celebrities, such as "Elvis" and "Willie Nelson," which adds life and fun to the shows.

   Wiles has performed extensively in Washington, and has opened for country stars Loretta Lynn and Tracy Byrd.
