Ransacked attic sale planned

   The Northshore Senior Center Ransacked Attic Sale will be held on Thursday and Friday, Aug. 5 and 6, at the Senior Center, just across the slough at 102nd and East Riverside Drive in Bothell. Sale hours will be 8:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Thursday and 8:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Friday. The chairman this year is Bill Johnson.

   "We will have thousands of items at very low prices," said Joan Gleadle, publicity chairperson. There will be sports, auto, and garden equipment; small furniture; paperback and hardbound books; dishes, household items, Christmas decorations, office equipment, and plants. There will be two rooms of men's, women's, and children's clothing. Jewelry and collectibles will be on the stage. All proceeds from the sale go the Northshore Senior Center.

   Anyone wishing to contribute items to this sale can bring them to the Senior Center on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday between 8:15 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. All saleable items in good condition are welcome, except large pieces of furniture (no refrigerators, carpets, sofas, and console stereos or large TVs, etc.)
