Prep Praise

   Julie Potts and Morgan Greenwood both received the QFC and Coca-Cola Scholarships for their excellence as Washington State High School Seniors.

   Torrin Shimono of Woodinville participated in the 59th Annual American Legion Evergreen Boys State at Central Washington University.

   The following graduating high school seniors have been awarded renewable scholarships by Seattle Pacific University: Elizabeth Bullock, William Hallifax, Jeffrey Mason, Luke Thoburn, and Andrew David.

   The following students are winners of the Seattle Synchronized Swim Team Novice and Intermediate swimmers at the Blossom Invitational Meet at the South Central pool in Tukwila: Rebecca Kayes, Danielle Waite, 1st place, ages 14/15 duet; Katrina Hatcher, Claire Latham, Elizabeth Nelson, Amanda Klimper, Marcia Levy, 1st Place, ages 10/11 novice team; Kelly Jensen, Jocilyn Sayler, Nicole Levy, Michelle King, Kate Pringle, Allie Hassenger, 1st place, age 10/11 intermediate team; Allison Conner, Rebecca Kayes, Abby Navratil, Helene Roux, Danielle Waite, 1st place, 18 and over team.

   Robert Bradshaw received a scholarship from the Boeing Company for a high PSAT score and recommendations from school officials and academic achievement.
