Wastemobile to visit Bothell

   The King County Solid Waste Division's traveling Household Hazardous Wastemobile will visit Bothell for a two-week period beginning Aug. 13, at Bothell High School, 18125 92nd Avenue NE. Site is on the left in the large parking lot at the High School. The Wastemobile will operate Aug. 20, 21, 22, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. For more information, call (206) 296-4692.

Dog show returns to Gold Creek

   The annual Summer All-Breed Dog Show will be held Aug. 27-29 at the Gold Creek Tennis and Sports Club, 15327 140th Pl. NE in Woodinville. Presented by the Sammamish Kennel Club and the All Terrier Club of Western Washington, the event will feature a Doggone Good Canine Health Fair, Aug. 28 and 29. Featured will be Red Cross first aid and a CPR clinic. Microchipping and tattoos will be available both days from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. with no appointment necessary. Celebrating pregnancy class

   The Family Maternity Center at Evergreen Hospital Medical Center will feature its popular "Celebrating Pregnancy" class on Monday, Aug. 23, from 7-9 p.m. at the main campus (12040 NE 128th St., Kirkland). Evergreen's nationally-recognized maternity experts will answer questions and help parents-to-be get the best and healthiest start possible. The class is free, and is now accepting registration. Genealogy course to be offered

   The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints will offer a free eight-week genealogy course, including field trips and personal assistance, on Thursday nights beginning Sept. 9 at 7 p.m. There is a class size limit. For information, call Rick Powell at 788-2134.
