City's action got this reader's attention
After reading Marshall Haley's front page article in the Woodinville Weekly last week, as well as your first letter to the editor, it was a surprise to read in the Eastside edition of my Seattle Times (Wednesday, Aug. 18) that "the city of Bothell sought to have the case thrown out, arguing that officials hadn't been properly served with the summons and claim."
Wow, it is as bad as we think, and they are out to get us, eh? Here I was feeling some sympathy for the wheels of bureaucracy, thinking they were right to toss it back to the courts to allow for a "gift" of monies overpaid through the years--HA! My attention is glued to see where this leads.
