Response to Ron Sim's visit to the Duvall Rock Quarry Site
I'm a civil engineer--I depend on "progress" to make a living. And believe me, it takes a lot of gravel to build a road. But this proposal is not worth its weight in paper, much less rock.
City's action got this reader's attention
Wow, it is as bad as we think, and they are out to get us, eh? Here I was feeling some sympathy for the wheels of bureaucracy, thinking they were right to toss it back to the courts.

Washington residents need to be aware that should Initiative 696 pass, the supply of fresh, wild salmon will be greatly diminished.
