Events

High Holy Days services announced

   Congregation Kol Ami (formerly Northshore Jewish Community Beyt Simcha) will hold services in Woodinville for Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur.

   The Rosh Hashanah evening service begins at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 10, and will be followed by refreshments.

   Rosh Hashanah morning begins with a children's service at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 11; adult services begin at 10:15 a.m., and are followed by refreshments and Tashlich.

   Kol Nidre is at 7:30 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 19. Yom Kippur morning begins with a children's service at 10 a.m.; adult services are at 10:45 a.m. on Monday, September 20. Thirty-minute study sessions and meditations will be held during the afternoon.

   Yizkor and the concluding service begins at 5:30 p.m., followed by a potluck break-the-fast dinner.

   All services will be led by Rabbi Drorah Setel and will be held at Bear Creek United Methodist Church, 16530 Avondale Road NE, Woodinville.

   Childcare is available at all services with prior reservations. Non-members are welcome; there is a non-member fee of $50 for each adult with a family maximum of $100. College students may attend free of charge.
