Northshore students save parents, taxpayers money

   Over the past year, 119 Northshore School District students received a total of 595 community college credits for the work they completed through the Tech Prep program.

   In order to obtain these credits, students had to earn a B grade or better in their class. At a cost of $50 per credit, Northshore students saved themselves, their parents, and taxpayers $29,750.

   Bothell High School students received a total of 235 community college credits for 47 college courses. Inglemoor High School students received a total of 185 community college credits for 37 college courses. Woodinville High School students received a total of 175 community college credits for 35 college courses.

   Credits were granted at Bellevue, Edmonds, and Shoreline community colleges.
