Volunteers and support for concerts were appreciated

This is a note with many thanks to Woodinville and its support of the 1999 Summer in the Parks Concert Series.

Woodinville Parks & Recreation's staff would not have been able to put them on without the help of our volunteers. Fifty-three of them helped with set-up and breakdown of chairs and sports fencing at both DeYoung Park and Wilmot Gateway Park, working 224 hours.

Many thanks to Deborah and Dennis DeYoung for having underwritten the nine concerts given at noon each Thursday at DeYoung Park during July and August. This was a wonderful gift to Woodinville.

A special note of thanks goes out to Eric Weissman of Kirshner Trailer for having donated the use of a large trailer for equipment storage during the August series at Wilmot Gateway Park. Using that trailer saved time, energy, and a lot of frustration.

The concerts were great fun and we look forward to next year.
