Participants will review the Network's 1999 Comprehensive Plan to reduce local problem behaviors including youth substance abuse, domestic violence, child abuse/neglect, and teen pregnancy. Input received at the Planning Retreat will become part of the Plan Update for the comming biennium.
Members of the four Network's Teams will present information regarding ways they have worked over the past few years to develop a strong sense of community, healthy community norms, strengthened families, and healthy youth activities.
The Snoqualmie Valley Community Network, one of 53 Community Public Health & Safety Networks statewide, is charged by the Washington State Legislature with reducing youth and family problem behaviors and recommending ways to improve systems that impact those problem behaviors.
