Sun shines on Wine FestivalThe 17th annual Woodinville Wine Festival & Art Walk was held last Saturday under clear skies and balmy temperatures at the Chateau Ste. Michelle amphitheater.
The free event featured tastings of more than 25 Northwest wines and handcrafted beers, fine arts and sculpture booths, specialty food booths, gourmet food by Lowell-Hunt Catering, and daylong musical entertainment.
The Woodinville Community Roundtable produces the wine festival as a fund-raiser to benefit Woodinville community groups.
Music was provided by The Woodinville Community Band, Janette's West Trio, Per Isberg's Showtime, Sub Duellers Blues Band, David Templeton, and Greg Park.
This year, the proceeds from the event were divided between Woodinville Adult Day Center (for their van program) and the Teen Northshore Teen Work program, which connects teens with jobs in the Northshore area.
