Saturday Seminars give football fans exercise for their brains

   Saturday on the University of Washington campus mean more than football. Fans of the Huskies' gridiron exploits enroll by the thousands in the Saturday Seminars, popular lectures by distinguished faculty whcih are held before five home games.

   Topics this year include: Coping with Information Overload, Laser Vision Correction, Keeping Your Teen on Track, Digitizing Michelangelo, and Surviving the Big One. Seminar dates are: 10 a.m., Sept. 25; 1:30 p.m., Oct. 16; 10 a.m., Oct. 30; and 10 a.m., Nov. 20.

   Reservations are required. Members of the general public are welcome, whether or not they have tickets to the football game. Some lectures fill early; requests are filled on a first-come, first-served basis.
