Ideas emerging for Duvall public art

The Duvall Arts Commission is in the very early stages of developing a plan for public art in the city. Survey forms are being distributed and people have begun completing them.

Among the ideas received thus far is one that would have the Commission developing Duvall's public art around the history of the town. Such a theme would give attention to the American Indian culture, later life on the River (including bridges and steamboats), logging, railroads, farming, and possibly even some projections into the future.

The Commission is eager to receiver further suggestions. Survey forms are available around town; people can write to the Commission at P.O. Box 183, Duvall, or call 788-6209.
