Bothell Parks & Rec programs

   There's no school on Friday, Oct. 8th. Looking for something to do? Join the Bothell Parks & Rec. Dept. as we Travel to Vertical World in Redmond for some indoor climbing fun. No equipment necessary. Meet at Bothell City Hall (18305 - 101st Ave. NE) at 10 a.m. and return at 1 p.m. Cost is $26/person.

   Aroma Therapy Class: Learn why essential oils have been used since ancient times for health and well-being of the emotional and physical body, and learn about possibilities of enhancing your life using oils. Class to be held on Tues., Oct., 12, 7:30-9:30 p.m., and the Adult Day Care Center (9929 NE 188th, Bothell). Class fee is $25/person. Pre-registration is required by Oct. 11th.

   Adult/Pediatric CPR Class will be offered on Wed., Oct. 13th, 7-10 p.m., at Bothell's Downtown Firehouse (10726 Beardslee Blvd.). This class teaches how to perform CPR on infants through adults. Meets daycare licensing requirements. Fee is $20/person and a 2-year certification class will be issued upon completion. Pre-registration is required by Oct. 11th.

   Animal Massage Class will teach you ways to relax your pet's tight muscles, treat injuries, and help arthritic pains. The instructor has taught this class for the Humane Society. This class is instructional only; no pets please. Class to be held on Thurs., Oct. 14th, 7:-9:30 p.m., at the Adult Day Care Center (9929 NE 188th, Bothell). Fee is $25/person. Pre-registration is required by Oct. 11th.

   Cycle Saturday for People with Special Needs will be held on Sat., Oct. 16th, 10:30 am-2:30 pm. This is a chance for you to come down and try out adaptive bikes and tandems supplied by Skiforall. Drop in anytime to Blyth Park (16950 W. Riverside Drive, Bothell). This is a free event.
