Learn how to cheer for Falcons

The Woodinville High School cheerleaders will hold a Cheer Camp for grades K-6 on Saturday, Oct. 9, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the WHS gymnasium. A performance for family and friends will be presented at 1:30 p.m. For information or registration forms, call (425) 483-3604.
Cheerleaders host annual spaghetti dinner
The Woodinville High School cheerleaders will host the Falcon's annual spaghetti dinner on Saturday, Oct. 16, at the Anderson cafeteria across from Pop Keeney Stadium. WHS will play the Garfield Bulldogs that evening. The pregame dinner will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Tickets, which will be available at the door, are $5, with children five and under admitted free. Photography classes at Center
The Continuing Education Department of Shoreline Community College will sponsor two photography classes beginning in October. Beginning Photography, Tuesdays, 7-9 p.m., 10/5-11/9, $65. Landscape Photography, Thursdays, 7-9 p.m., 10/7-11/4, $65. Both classes are held at the Northshore Senior Center, 10201 E. Riverside Drive, Bothell. Instructor Robert Stahl has an M.A. in Art History and is a professional photographer. Stahl has led photography tours to many parts of the world. Preregistration is required. Sunday credit classes at LWTC
Lake Washington Technical College will offer credit courses on Sunday. The courses initially being offered are Adobe PageMaker, QuarkXpress, PC Computer Applications, Microsoft Access, Intuit QuickBooks, Keyboard Skillbuilding, and Introduction to Speech. These classes will begin October 10 or October 17. Registration is underway in the East Building Mall. Students may also register by calling (425) 739-8104 with a credit card number. Preschool has openings
Gold Creek Lodge Preschool has openings this fall. The preschool offers a program on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays for children ages 3 1/2 to 5 at $102 per month. Children must be potty-trained and 3 1/2 by Sept. 1. Class times are from 9:15 to 11:15 a.m. Observers are welcome. The preschool is located at 16020 148th Ave. NE in Woodinville.
