After her marriage to George Sheats, she lived in Seattle before moving to Woodinville in 1976. She was co-owner and accountant for their business, Sheats Electric. She was interested in art and did many paintings.
She is survived by her husband, George, of Woodinville; daughter Cheree Vixie and her husband, Loren, of Sultan; son Ron Sheats of Seattle; and sister Ada McBride of Anacortes, Washington. Services were held last Friday at Bleitz Funeral Home. She was buried at the Hillside Burial Cemetery in Kent. There was a memorial service held for her on Saturday at Canterbury Square.
Mrs. Howington moved to Woodinville in June 1994. She was an active member of the Woodinville Adult Day Care Center. A devoted mother, grandmother and great grandmother, Mrs Howington loved to listen to country music and enjoyed spending time in the outdoors.
She is survived by her daughters, Patricia Holey and husband Don, and Carin Howington; sons Harry Howington and Raymond Howington; grandchildren Gary Slick and Kathryn Slick; great-grandchildren, Robert Slick, Jessie Orchard; sisters Leora Andrews and Esther Price; brother James Aiken; and numerous nieces, nephews, relatives, and a host of friends.
A memorial service was held Oct. 12 at the Bothell Funeral Home.
