Duvall Police Log

   Sept. 16: At about 7 a.m., officers were alerted to an intoxicated man driving northbound on Main St. from NE Stephens. Officers pulled the vehicle over on the Cherry Valley Road and found that not only was the driver intoxicated, but also he had several outstanding warrants, one for DUI. The driver was arrested for the warrants and processed for the DUI. He was then booked into the King County Jail.

   Sept. 16: A woman reported to police that she had set her cell phone down while at the Texaco gas station and had driven off without it. When she returned to the gas station, the phone was gone. Anyone with information should call Duvall police.

   Sept. 17: A reckless driver was found in the Carrie Rae neighborhood. The driver, a local juvenile, admitted that he was just showing off to some friends who live on NE Miller St. The driver was issued a ticket for negligent driving.

   Sept. 18: A cell phone was reported to have been stolen from a car in the Juniper Glen development. The victim called the phone company and learned the call activity really picked on Sept. 11. Police are awaiting information from the phone company.

   Sept. 18: A hit-and-run occurred on Sept. 15 in the parking lot of Cedarcrest High School between the hours of 7:15 and 10 a.m. Anyone with information is encouraged to call police.

   Sept. 18: A about 7:15, a local female came to the station to turn herself in. She had a $650 warrant out of Snohomish County and wanted to get it taken care of. Officers placed her into custody and transported her to Monroe, where she was released to a Snohomish County deputy.

   Sept. 28: At about 8:27 p.m., police separated a disputing couple on First Ave. The female half of the fight was arrested for fourth degree assault DV and was booked into the King County Jail.
