Junior Girl Scout Troop #1726 from Woodmoor Elementary School lent a hand at the "Race for the Cure" event in Seattle on Sept. 12. While the runners were racing and raising money for breast cancer research, the scouts baby-sat children of the runners and checked bags at the parcel check. The active troop also recently made a new addition to the garden at their school, where they made and installed several birdhouses.
