Public invited to I-405 corridor open house

A public scoping open house will be held to kick-off the environmental review process for the I-405 Corridor Program on Oct. 21 from 5:30 to 8 p.m. at the Kirkland Senior Center, 352 Kirkland Avenue.

Citizens are invited to learn about the program, talk to members of the project team, and share ideas about what issues should be addressed. The I-405 Corridor Program will identify options for an efficient, integrated, and multi-modal system of transportation improvements within the I-405 corridor from Tukwila to Lynnwood.

The open house will provide general project information as well as maps showing already-planned transportation improvements and lists of ideas for future projects. Open house participants will be invited to add their own ideas for future projects and strategies, comment on the ideas presented, and share their vision for the I-405 corridor.
