'In the Mood for Jazz'

   The Northshore Performing Arts Center Foundation (NPACF) has scheduled an array of entertaining events for its 1999-2000 concert season. Titled "Series 2000," the NPACF's second season officially opens Saturday, Nov. 6, at 7:30 at Woodinville High School with In the Mood For Jazz. The evening's spotlight will shine on Jive, the Bothell High School Jazz vocal group and the Inglemoor High School Jazz Band, as well as a surprise guest performance.

   Series 2000 will also include Northshore Superstars on Saturday, Jan. 15, 2000. This exciting concert will feature Northshore School District staff and alumni. Other events included in the series are Cue the Classics, featuring the Northshore Sinfonia Orchestra; Enter Stage Right, an evening with Northshore thespians, as well as a student art show; and One World, a musical from Judy Bloom and her Kokanee Elementary students.

   The cost for "Series 2000" tickets is $45 per person for all five concerts and $35 for senior citizens (children under five are free).
