Haunted houses

   The Jungyae Moosul Academy of Woodinville will host their annual Haunted House, Saturday, Oct. 30, and Sunday, Oct. 31, from 7 to 10 p.m. at 14219 NE Woodinville-Duvall Rd. The Haunted House boasts seven frightening rooms with thrills, chills, and ghoulish delights for the whole family. Admission is $5 for adults and $3 for children. Donation of a non-perishable food item to benefit Food Lifeline will reduce admission by $1. For further information, call 486-0900.

   A new Scare House with Disney-quality robotics and animatronics will be open through Oct. 31 at the Upper Totem Lake Mall between Trader Joe's and Big 5 Sporting Goods. Hours are Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Sunday evenings from 6 to 9 p.m.; Fridays, Saturdays, and Halloween night from 6 p.m. to midnight. Admission is $7 with a $1 reduction for those who bring a can of food for the Northwest Harvest Food Bank. The House also benefits the American Diabetes Association locally.
