WOODINVILLE--Woodinville Mayor Don Brocha presented a Certificate of Appreciation to Super Jock 'N' Jill owner Tom Anderson during the City Council meeting of Oct. 11. At the same time, Anderson, of Bothell, formally presented Brocha with an enlarged version of a $5,000 check that he contributed to the City of Woodinville's Parks & Recreation Dept.

"Our Super Jock 'N' Jill race has been sponsored by Redhook for the last four years," said Anderson. "Lane Youngblood and the Woodinville Parks staff have been very instrumental in making that race a success. We've also been impressed by the development of Wilmot Park, and that made us want to contribute to the Art Walk concept."

Anderson thanked Redhook, Towne Bank of Bothell, and all the other sponsors of the race.
