Old-fashioned town meeting in Bothell

State Reps. Al O'Brien and Jeanne Edwards will host an old-fashioned-style Town Hall Meeting at Bothell High School cafeteria on Nov. 4 from 7-9 p.m. to discuss the major issues state lawmakers will deal with when the 2000 Legislature convenes in January.

The Democratic lawmakers have invited several other lawmakers from around the Puget Sound area to attend the meeting so that they can hear what local residents have to say. After some opening comments by the host legislators, much of the evening will be dedicated to questions and comments from the public.

Other legislators who will likely attend the town meeting include: Rep. John Lovick, Mill Creek; Rep. Hans Dunshee, Snohomish; Rep. Carolyn Edmonds, Shoreline; Rep. Ruth Kagi, Lake Forest Park; Rep. Laura Ruderman, Redmond; and Rep. Mike Cooper, Edmonds.

The high school is located at 18125 92nd Ave., Bothell. For more information, call (360) 786-7900.
