Why after Christmas? WRT wants audiences to witness how the age-old story might have been presented by a family of poor kids who didn't know that they were outcast and how they took over the traditional Sunday school play with their own down-to-earth ideas of how to "wow" an audience.
The Best Christmas Pageant Ever will run Dec. 30 through Jan. 1 and Jan. 7 and 8 at 8 p.m. and at 2 p.m. on Jan. 2, 8, and 9 at Leota Junior High, 19301 168th Ave. NE in Woodinville. The cast and crew invite the audience (including children) at the Dec. 31 performance to join them after the show for an early New Year's Eve party.
Tickets for the show are available Monday-Sunday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. by calling 481-8502.
