On November 29, the T.A.F.T. (Teens Acting For Tomorrow) youth council presented its first Youth Friendly Business Award to Main Street Music in Duvall. Owners Tracey and Cathy Nelson invite and welcome youth into the store.

"Youth are consistently treated with respect in this business and are made to feel like valued community members," said Lorry Kaye, Lower Valley Youth Program Director.

The council plans to give the Youth Friendly Business Award twice a year, alternating between Duvall and Carnation businesses. The T.A.F.T. youth council invites nominations from all youth in the community for this award.
