Make the Connection

In keeping with the City Council's goal of increasing citizen participation, the City of Woodinville is launching its "Make the Connection" program in which each month, a City Councilmember, the City Manager, and a Department Director will be stationed at a local business to respond to questions and concerns of the community and to conduct public outreach on city programs, projects, and services.

The program will include monthly meetings at various Woodinville businesses, coffee shops, and local sites. A topic of interest is selected for each meeting. Councilmember Carol Bogue, City Manager Pete Rose, and Public Works Director Mick Monken will be at McLendon Hardware, Inc., 17705-130th Ave. NE, on Wednesday, Jan. 19, from 9 to 11 a.m. to solicit ideas and input on the City's 2001-2006 Capital Improvement Plan (CIP).
