BOTHELL--Courtney Margaret McCoy of Bothell was the first Northshore baby born in Evergreen Medical Center, on Jan. 1 at 6:27 a.m. Courtney was welcomed by her mother and father, Colleen and Douglas McCoy, and her big sister Allison.
As one of Evergreen's Millennium Babies, Courtney was showered with gifts including: a Russ teddy bear from Russ Berrie, Inc.; a one-year enrollment in Evergreen's Baby/Parent Time class from Evergreen's Family Maternity Center; a two-year subscription to Eastside Parent: Out and About in Seattle with Kids; and a guide book from Northwest Parent Publishing.
In addition, she received a Lamont's gift certificate; a supply of customized "Welcome to the Millennium" baby bibs from Midnight Graphics; and several children's books from University Bookstore.
Mom Colleen was given a relaxing European facial and one-hour massage by Salon Chelsea in Redmond. Courtney was offered a first haircut from Kids Kuts in Bothell.
