WSDOT mountain pass phone numbers

   The Washington State Department of Transportation reminds motorists that driving safely in icy or snowy conditions requires special care. Before leaving for your destination, call the WSDOT Mountain Pass Report, (206) DOT-HIWY (toll-free within the Greater Seattle area) or 1-800-695-ROAD (statewide toll-free), for the latest mountain pass road conditions. For TDD devices, call 1-800-833-6388, then type (206) 440-4040. Pass reports cover conditions on Mount Baker, the North Cascades Highway, and Snoqualmie, Stevens, Cayuse, Chinook, White, Sherman, Blewett, and Satus passes. These reports are updated as conditions change.
