Legislators to host 44th District town meetings

Legislators representing the 44th District are inviting their neighbors and constituents to town meetings on February 19 to discuss the major issues state lawmakers are currently dealing with in Olympia. It's also an opportunity for the public to share their opinions with their elected representatives during the legislative session.

Hosting the two meetings will be Sen. Jeanine Long, R-Mill Creek; Rep. Dave Schmidt, R-Bothell; and Rep. John Lovick, D-Mill Creek.

The meetings will be held at the Mill Creek City Council Chambers, 15728 Mill Creek Blvd., from 10 a.m.-noon. The second meeting will be at the Clearview Firehouse in Snohomish, 8010 180th Street SE, from 2 to 4 p.m.

The 44th District encompasses southern Snohomish County and includes the town of Mill Creek, and parts of Lynwood, Snohomish, Bothell, and unincorporated parts of Everett.
