Volunteer on board the Snoqualmie Valley Railroad

Do you enjoy people, trains, and history? That's the combination for being a docent on board the Snoqualmie Valley Railroad or at the 1890 Snoqualmie Depot, the oldest operating railway station in Washington.

Training is required, so a commitment of at least half a year is desired. Docents are welcome weekends or weekdays, any number of hours. Call Jennifer at 425-888-3030 or send e-mail to volunteer@trainmuseum.org.

Last year, 60,000 visitors from Washington and around the world visited the Snoqualmie Depot or rode the train. The Northwest Railway Museum is a non-profit corporation dedicated to capturing the excitement of a working railroad and presenting the significance of railroads in the Pacific Northwest's development.

Programs include train excursions, the Santa Train, educational school programs, and Cecil the Diesel Club with a monthly newsletter for children.

More information is available on the Web at www.trainmuseum.org.
