Falcons press Quakers

Woodinville's boys mounted a serious challenge to tie Franklin for first place in the Kinco 4A Mountain Division last Friday night, before succumbing to a 10-0 Quaker rally in the last five minutes, to fall 58-48.

Seedings for the 4A tournament are up in the air, as the Falcons (7-5, 12-7) face Bothell (8-4, 13-6) in their final league game on Tuesday. Bothell has clinched second place in the Lake Division behind undefeated Garfield.

Redmond (8-4, 15-4) plays Lake Washington (7-5, 13-7) in the other key Mountain Division game. Franklin (9-3, 15-3) plays division doormat Roosevelt (2-10, 5-14).

Falcon Sterling Brown is tied with Franklin's Alvin Snow for the 4A scoring title at 19.8.
