Miniature masterpieces at Bothell gallery
Rainy Day (pictured at left), by Elaine Mahler, is among the small and miniature paintings that will be on display at FrameWright Gallery in Bothell. For this third annual exhibit, more than 200 pieces of art will be hung for viewing. The public is invited to an opening reception on Feb. 25 from 5 to 8 p.m. at the gallery. Italianimisso chef featured on special
Kent Betts, owner and chef of Woodinville's Italianimisso restaurant, was nominated by Michelle Burdette of Snohomish to prepare his recipe for shrimp bisque for the new KCTS Chefs TV special. More than 300 viewers submitted their favorite dishes from local restaurants. Twelve were selected for live, on-air demonstration. The program will air Saturday, Feb. 26, and Sunday, Feb. 27, from 3 to 7 p.m.
