Blood drive

   Puget Sound Blood Center will hold a blood drive, Feb. 25, in Room 22 at the Ricketts auditorium in Bothell from 2 to 8 p.m. with a break from 4:15 to 5 p.m.

Girl Scout cookies on sale

   The annual Girl Scout cookie sale runs from Feb. 25-March 12. Scouts will be at Safeway, QFC, Albertsons, Rite Aid, Barnes & Noble, and Fred Meyer stores weekdays after school and all day on weekends. Call 1-800-767-6845.

Cottage Glen residents to meet

   Residents of Cottage Glen will meet Feb. 23 at 7 p.m. at the Woodinville Seventh Day Adventist Church to discuss the safety of kids vs. cars. Fimia sponsors workshop

   King County Councilmember Maggi Fimia will sponsor a Grant Research/Writing Workshop for King County Council District I cities, non-profits, community organizations, and interested individuals. The free one-day workshop will be held on Tuesday, March 28, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Shoreline Library, 345 NE 175th St. in Shoreline. Bring your own brown bag lunch.
