Mentors needed

Project Smart Turn and the Young Adult Court Mentor Program are canvassing the Eastside to recruit mature, caring adults to mentor children, teens, and young adults impacted by: child abuse and neglect, domestic violence, school drop-out, homelessness, substance abuse, teenage pregnancy/parenting, and learning disabilities. Meet with a young person once a week, sharing your valuable knowledge of the practical and emotional tools needed to be successful in today's society. There is a minimum one-year commitment. Excellent training and guidance are provided. Orientation is set for Friday evening, March 24, and Saturday, March 25. Contact Donna Belin, Director, at (206) 205-7006 for details.
