New thrift store in Kenmore

The Society of St. Vincent, Seattle Council, recently opened a new retail store on the Knoll Lumber property located at 7304 NE Bothell Way, which includes a 19,160-square-foot retail building and 40,335 square feet of various yard storage buildings.

The store is the largest of the non-profit's seven thrift stores in King County. Five outer buildings allow St. Vincent de Paul to expand huge recycling and appliance programs. Loretta Tipton, former manager at the St. Vincent de Paul store in Carnation, has been named as Kenmore store manager.

St. Vincent de Paul trucks will be available to pick-up donations on Saturdays during the month of February. Contact St. Vincent de Paul's dispatch office at (206) 767-3835 to obtain free pick up of items.
