Carnation getting serious about sewers
Sewers are no longer a growth issue, but a survival issue for the town. That was the general consensus by city officials at an informational forum last week to gather feedback from residents on the latest sewer study.
Three propositions on February 29 ballot
On February 29, voters will decide if Riverview School District will get computers for its classrooms. Also on the ballot are a Maintenance and Operations levy and a request for funds to finish the Cedarcrest Performing Arts Center.
No charges against Duvall animal owner
King County prosecutors have wrapped up their animal cruelty investigation of a Duvall-area woman, concluding that there is not enough evidence to file charges.
Benefit to fight quarry raises over $1,400
On January 28, The Inducers of Insanity, a group of high school and college kids, assisted by a dedicated group of adults, held a benefit for the Friends of Cherry Valley, a local organization fighting the proposed quarry just north of Duvall.
