WOODINVILLE--Linens 'N Things, a national chain store offering quality home accessories at affordable prices, has broken ground next to Pet Smart in Woodinville's TRF complex. The 35,000-square-foot store should open early next fall, said TRF spokesman Bob Parks.
The store will be one of four that will occupy the largest remaining space in the complex. The other three businesses will occupy a total of 20,000 square feet of retail space. The businesses are currently exploring the permit process, so their names and projected opening dates won't be announced until they sign leases. They would probably open sometime in 2001, said Parks.
Design plans show a small plaza area in the wedge that will be formed between the new buildings and the Nordic Sport Haus, located on the west side of Barnes & Noble. A small parking strip off Woodinville-Snohomish Rd. will be added at the north end of the new buildings.
Linens 'N Things already has stores in Redmond's Bear Creek Village and on the east side of I-5 in Lynnwood. Some large department stores had considered the TRF site, but never opened negotiations, said Parks.
