Providing graduates an opportunity to be with friends and the graduating class as a whole in a large celebratory atmosphere, the party features music, food, prizes, and entertainment. For parents, the party provides pre-planned activities, transportation, chaperones, and most of all, a safe environment for the graduates.
Tickets are being sold at WHS on school block days (generally Wednesday and Thursday) during Options and cost $115 through March 15. Cost is $125 from March 16 to June 6, and $175 after June 6. Tickets may also be purchased by sending your check to J.A. Jackson; P.O. Box 749; Woodinville, WA 98072. Make checks payable to WHS Senior Class Activities. (Include student name, current address, and phone number. Do not send cash.)
The prize committee for the graduation party encourages all businesses and individuals to make a contribution to the party in the form of a gift or prize or cash to be used toward the purchase of prizes. The committee is trying to acquire items that would be useful to a college student or a young person starting on their own. Some great ideas are a mini-refrigerator, microwave oven, dorm necessities, sporting goods, and entertainment items.
