Someone used a chainsaw to clear the area where your home is built
At one point, someone used a chainsaw to clear the area in which your home now sits and you raise your family. Is it fair that others not be given the chance?
Writer misses group of people who got things done in the Valley
Years ago, when I was a news reporter in the Snoqualmie Valley, there was always a group of folks who were busy getting things done. I am heart-hurt at the loss of many of those folks.
We must abide by the rules set up by organizations
Snoqualmie Valley Youth Soccer Association (SnVYSA) doesn't make the rules regarding the registration process. We must abide by the rules and procedures from the organizations under which we operate.
Concerning a property owner's 'right' to do what they wish with their property
If you are proposing an activity on your property that adversely affects my property value and threatens my sole water source, you do not have a "right" to perform that activity.
Letter to the community of Duvall concerning the proposed quarry
Local quarries are a necessary part of our society. We need rock for homes, roads, schools, flood control, and erosion prevention. It is our intention to make this a neighborhood-friendly quarry.
