(Left to right) Brianne Foster, Morgan Luce, and Megan Grobman recently received the Girl Scout Silver Award.
Girl Scouting's second-highest award was recently given to three young ladies at the Girl Scout Thinking Day Celebration on Wednesday, March 1, at Tolt Middle School, Carnation.
Brianne Foster, Megan Grobman, and Morgan Luce each received the Silver Award for completing a preliminary 30-hour project as a cadet, utilizing the skills needed to complete the Gold Award, Girl Scouts' highest honor. The Girl Scout Gold Award is equivalent to the Boy Scout Eagle Award.
Though all three ladies are Cedarcrest sophomores, all Silver Award projects were completed at the cadet/freshman level. The scouts have since bridged from Cadets to Senior Scouts, and will be working toward their Gold Awards.
