Duvall Art Walk set for March 19

   The second annual Duvall Art Walk, a showcase for local artists, will be held Sunday, March 19, noon-3 p.m.

   Participating galleries and merchants for this year's events will be: Jeff's Custom Framing, Decor Art Gallery, The Art Shack, Pumps and Grinds, Therapeutic Massage, Washington Trout, and Gardens & SunSpaces Gallery. Drumming, storytelling, and a 3-D slide show are included in the entertainment. Event schedules can be obtained at participating merchants.

   Gardens & Sunspaces will also be hosting an open reception, "Gardens, Altars, and Icons: Spring 2000," between 3-6 p.m. Admission is free, and musical guest David Hoffman will be performing. Featured artists are Lisel Salzer, Seattle, floral bouquets in watercolor; Annie McCain, Duvall, ensemblage altars; Kerstin McKee, Issaquah, fertility in oils; and Barry Swanson, Lake Stevens, new life in stone. Showings will be 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily through May 11.
