Feb. 19: Two 25-year-old Bothell men were stopped on 131st NE in front of the Union 76 station for failure to signal a lane change within 100 feet. One of the two officers received the driver's permission to search the car, and found a clear bag of white powder under the passenger's seat. The officer suspected the powder was methamphetamine. The passenger admitted the bag was his. The officer read him his rights, and the suspect waived them. The suspect was transported to the King County Jail for VUCSA (Violation of the Uniformed Controlled Substance Act), and the drug was taken to the state crime lab for analysis.
Feb. 19: A King County Officer arrested a 48-year-old Seattle man driving along SR-522 at 2:45 p.m. on a $1,500 felony warrant from Coupeville County.
Feb. 20: An unidentified suspect stole a 43-year-old Snohomish man's white Chevrolet Celebrity from the Burger King lot at noon, Sunday. The victim was coming out the door when he saw his car leaving the lot. He gave chase for two blocks along 175th before calling police. He said he had left his car unlocked and the keys on the driver's side floorboard.
