Tickets on sale for 'Brighton Beach Memoirs'

   Opening night for the Woodinville Repertory Theatre presentation of Neil Simon's Brighton Beach Memoirs will be April 14 at 8 p.m. at the Inglemoor High School Theater, 15500 Simonds Rd. NE in Bothell. Intended for mature audiences, the play tells the story of a loving family who keeps its sense of humor and marvelous style in the face of the Great Depression. Other performances are scheduled for April 15, 19, 20, 21, and 22 at 8 p.m. Matinees will be held at 2 p.m. on April 15, 16, and 22. For ticket information and orders, call (425) 481-8502.

New murals at Woodinville Library

   The Woodinville Friends of the Library will host Ann Fiser, creator of the two new murals in the library's meeting room, on Saturday, March 25, from 10 a.m. to noon. The murals depict windows into lush gardens, interpreting the proverb, "A good book is like a garden carried in a pocket." A mural activity for children will be available, as will refreshments. Maltby bluegrass concert and auction

   The sixth annual Maltby Bluegrass Concert, Auction and Jam will be held on Saturday, March 25, beginning at1 p.m. at the Maltby Community Club, 206th St. SE and 87th Ave. SE in Maltby. The bands this year include Crossfire, 78 RPM, and the Knott Bros. The hot fiddling of Jon Parry will also be featured. Open jamming (with purchase of concert ticket) will be held from 1 to 6 p.m. The concert, plus live and silent auctions, is planned for 7 to 10:30 p.m. Open jamming will return at 10:30 p.m. Tickets are $10 for adults; $8 for seniors 65-plus and youth, 12-18; children under 12 are free. 'Our Town' opens at Cedar Park

   The Cedar Park Christian School drama department will present Thornton Wilder's Our Town on Thursday, March 23, and Friday, March 24, at 7 p.m. Additional performances will be held Saturday, March 25, at 1 and 6 p.m. Tickets are $5 for adults and $3 for seniors, children, and students.
