Valley Special

Duvall Days Country Living Festival is May 20

Even though there is no parade, Duvall Days will go on!

Those wishing to get booth information should please contact the chamber hotline at 788-8384, or stop by the following Duvall locations to pick up applications: Valley Mailbox, City Hall, Bank of America, and Valley Community Bank.

This year's Saturday events will include the 5K Fun Run; daylong entertainment; crafts and street fair with more than 50 crafts, information, and food booths; infamous Frog Jump; cow pie bingo; and more.

Other activities include the Duvall Fire Department District 45 Fireman's Muster, pony rides, the Cedarcrest High School and Tolt Middle School bands, demonstrations by Margie Coy's Fit Happens! Fitness Studio and TJ Dance Studios, plus the Fit Happens! Aerobathon, benefiting the Duvall Emergency Fund.

Assuming funds are available, there will be fireworks Saturday night at dusk with viewing from Cherry Valley Elementary School. On Sunday, as usual, there will be the 40th annual Duvall Firefighters Pancake Breakfast.

For information, contact Margie Coy, Duvall Days Chairperson, at the Chamber Hotline at 425-788-8384.
