Census assistance

   Workers for the U.S. Census Bureau will be available in Woodinville and Kirkland to answer questions about the Census 2000.

   Two Questionnaire Assistance Centers will be open to the public in Woodinville. The first location will be open Wednesdays and Fridays from 5-7 p.m. until April 14 at the Woodinville Fire Dept., 199000 144th Ave. NE.

   The second location will be at the Woodinville Library through April 13. Hours of operation at the library at 3-5 p.m. on Tuesdays, 5-7 p.m. on Thursdays, and 12:30-2:30 p.m. on Saturdays. The Woodinville Library is located at 17105 Avondale Road NE.

   Additional centers are located in Kirkland at the Kingsgate Library at 12315 NE 143rd and the North Kirkland Community Center at 12421 103rd Ave. NE. Hours of operation at the Kingsgate Library are Wednesday, Thursday, Friday from 2-4:30 p.m. Hours for the Community Center are Saturdays from 9 a.m.-noon.

   Census workers will be available to answer questions and help residents fill out the census questionnaire. For information, call the Bellevue Census Office at (425) 451-7887.
