Local lawyer honored by foundation

   Peter W. Goddu, attorney and partner at Langlie & Goddu has been honored by the Roe Foundation, a private foundation funding senior programs, for his service and dedication as a trustee from 1991 to 1999.

   Goddu received a plaque in appreciation for his "service as a trustee to the Roe Foundation and dedication to the elderly citizens of rural Washington State."

   Peter Goddu has practiced law since 1981. His practice focuses on real estate; business law; and commercial and creditor law, primarily for financial institutions. He has been involved in community activities since moving to the Pacific Northwest in 1978. He has served 5 1/2 years as a commissioner of the Woodinville Water District, to which he was elected in 1986.

   Goddu is a former board member and past president of Rotary, and served as vice chairman of the Board of Managers for the Northshore YMCA from 1992 to 1994.
