Free storytelling workshop
Start a new family tradition. Learn how to start telling and sharing stories with your preschooler at a free workshop on Monday, April 24, 10-11 a.m. at the Duvall Family Center. The workshop uses an interactive approach to storytelling and is not a story reading time. Parents and their preschoolers (ages 4-6) will participate in interactive group stories and play story games together. Parents will take home a packet of ideas, activities, resources, and tips on promoting storytelling. Children will take home their very own "Once upon a time..." story. The Duvall Family Center is located at 15904 Main Street (788-7924). Since space is limited, call Meg Robsahm at Eastside Literacy at 844-2459 or 558-2459 to register.
