Bothell Parks & Rec classes

   First Aid Class will be held on Wed., May 3rd, 6-9 p.m. at the Adult Day Care Center (9929 NE 180th, Bothell). This course is L&I approved, and a 2-year certification card will be issued upon completion. Fee is $20; pre-registration is required.

   Bicycle Maintenance will be taught in this 4-week course to be held on Thursdays, beginning May 4th, 7-9 p.m., at Bothell Ski & Bike (17816 Bothell Way NE). Learn how all the parts of a bicycle work together, how to adjust them, and how to keep them working. Classes are kept small and taught in a real bike shop. Fee is $50. Pre-registration is required.

   Scrapbooking Class will teach you the basics. Learn about cropping, decorating pages, mounting photos, and journaling. Class to be held on Thursday, May 4th, 6:30-8:30 p.m., at the Adult Day Care Center (9929 NE 180th, Bothell). Pre-registration is required. Class fee is $10.

   Flower Basket Class will teach you how to make hanging flower baskets. Learn which plants do best in baskets, as well as secrets for keeping them blooming all summer. Each person will make two baskets to take home. Choose the session that works for you: Class to be held on Sat., May 6th, 10 a.m.-noon, at Blyth Park and again on Sat., May 13th, 10 a.m.-noon. Fee of $32 includes all materials and plants. Advance registration is mandatory.
