Northshore students star in 'Enter Stage Right'

The Northshore Performing Arts Center Foundation (NPACF) announces its final program in the 1999/2000 concert series, "Enter Stage Right," May 13 at 7:30 p.m. at Woodinville High School, featuring the talent of student thespians from the district's high schools.

Inglemoor High School senior Leslie Barnard directs her one-act play Six, a poignant review of a woman's life told through a timeline of memorable kisses. This play debuted to standing ovations at the IHS One Act Festival. Four other Inglemoor students will perform award-winning monologues.

Bothell High students take the audience back to our childhoods with the opening scenes of Alice in Wonderland. "We've written Lewis Carroll into the show," says Duane Eickhoff, BHS drama teacher, "to bring back the original storyteller with Alice and her sisters."

Woodinville High students peg their jeans and slip into poodle skirts for a cutting from the musical Grease.

In addition, audience members will be served complimentary desserts while enjoying a student art gallery.

Woodinville High School is located at 19819 136th NE. Tickets are $15/adults, $10/seniors, and $5/students, and are available by calling 488-7892, or at the door.
